CEDAR COUNTY, Iowa — One juvenile is dead and another is injured after a UTV accident in Cedar County Tuesday evening, the Iowa State Patrol says.
According to a crash report, the UTV was going eastbound along 210th Street when it lost control, entered a ditch and rolled over. The 10-year-old driver was injured and transported to a nearby hospital. An 11-year-old passenger did not survive. Their identity has not been released.
The crash is still under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol, who were assisted by Bennett Ambulance and Fire, Clarence Ambulance, Lowden first responders, the Tipton Police Department and the Cedar County Sheriff's Office.
