Tornado destroys couple's home of 30 years

"On April 16, a tornado hit the home of Dan and Julie Hill leaving severe damage to their home of 30 years, property, vehicles and more.

We are so grateful they are safe, but know that disasters like this will leave them burdened with unavoidable expenses. Our family is raising money for repairs and expenses for their home.

In Dan’s words, “You know, you always feel sorry for the people when you see it on the news all the time, and then it happens to you and it really hits you.”

From the children of Dan and Julie: Thank you for support and consideration. God bless you all!

Best,
Heather and Shawn Pilcher; Marci and Darrell Lindsey; Joel and Elvina Hill; Jordan and Shelby Hill"

Iowa farmer's outbuildings, equipment destroyed by Tuesday's tornado

"I am raising money to help support my dad. We had a tornado go through our area on April 16 and it devastated his property. We are thankful he is ok and the house is still there but all of the outbuildings were taken out. They were full of farm equipment and antique vehicles that can not be replaced so easily. The area will be without power for some while with many lines down in the area. Dad had no insurance to help so any amount you can give would go a long way for him and be very much appreciated. Thank you!"
