Lainey Wilson and Counting Crows set to perform at 2024 John Deere Classic

Two major music acts will perform at the 2024 John Deere Classic during the second year of the tournament's "Concerts on the Course" series.

MOLINE, Ill. — Two major music acts will perform at the 2024 John Deere Classic during the second year of the tournament's "Concerts on the Course" series. 

Counting Crows and Lainey Wilson will perform during this year's John Deere Classic, taking place from July 4-8 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis. Counting Crows will perform on Saturday, July 6, and Lainey Wilson will perform on Sunday, July 7. Both acts will be performed after the end of tournament play on each respective day. 

American rock band Counting Crows is well-known for hits such as "Mr. Jones" and "Accidentally in Love." In 2022, Billboard listed the band at No. 8 on its list of the greatest adult alternative artists of all time.

Wilson has become one of country music's biggest stars in recent years. In February, Wilson won her first Grammy at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Country Album for her 2023 album Bell Bottom Country.

Tickets for the John Deere Classic go on sale Apr. 3.

In 2023, country music stars Darius Rucker and Blake Shelton performed at the JDC's first edition of "Concerts on the Course." Thousands of fans packed the area around the 18th green to enjoy the shows. In October, the JDC announced they would continue the "Concerts on the Course" series through 2026. 

The 2024 edition of the tournament is the 53rd edition of the tournament. Sepp Straka is the defending champion.
