ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Update Thursday, April 25: Due to rain in the forecast, the Spring Community Garage Sale & Vendor Fair has been postponed to Saturday, May 4. The time of day and location are the same.

The City of Rock Island is hosting its Spring Community Garage Sale & Vendor Fair on Saturday, April 27.
According to a press release, the event will feature a sale of 6,000 square feet of shopping for toys, home décor, furniture, trinkets, home-made items, vendors, and more at Upper Longview Park from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 55 garage sale vendors as well as craft vendors and makers' market will be available at the "Vendor row."
