DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Adler Theatre is warning ticket-buyers about getting ripped off by buying potentially fraudulent tickets through third-party vendors.
The venue says it has seen an increase in the number of invalid tickets presented at events, along with other issues created by third-party vendors like higher ticket costs, purchasers not receiving important show information and not being able to make changes to the purchase.
The Theatre says the only authorized outlets for purchasing tickets are Ticketmaster, through the Adler's official site www.davenportlive.com (which links directly to Ticketmaster) and in-person at the box office. Adler Theatre said they are unable to honor, replace or refund invalid tickets and cannot help with any ticket changes.
