MOLINE, Ill. — A total of five wrestlers from the Illinois side of the News 8 viewing region took to the mat this past weekend, all vying for state titles.
Rock Island teammates, Truth Vesey and Andrew Marquez, each won Class 2A state titles in their senior year. Junior Jude Finch from Rockridge won his first state wrestling championship in Class 1A.
