Local players chosen on day three of the draft

A handful of local players have been selected the third and final day of the NFL Draft.

In round four, the Chicago Bears picked Linebacker Khaseem Greene from Rutgers. They chose Offensive Lineman Jordan Mills from Louisiana Tech in round five. Linebacker, Cornelius Washington from the University of Georgia was the team’s pick in round six. Lastly they picked Wide Receiver Marquess Wilson from Washington State.

Akeem Spence, Terry Hawthorne, and Michael Buchanan from the University of Illinois were picked in rounds four, five, and seven, respectively. Spence, a Defensive Lineman will go to Tampa Bay. Cornerback, Hawthorne was drafted by the Steelers. Buchanan, a Defensive Lineman, was chosen by the New England Patriots.

Micah Hyde, a Cornerback from the University of Iowa was drafted in round five by the Packers.

From Iowa State University, Linebacker A.J. Klein was drafted in round five by the Carolina Panthers and Offensive Lineman, Carter Bykowski in round seven was picked by the 49ers.
