MOLINE, Ill. — The temperatures may be frigid outside, but Hy-Vee has a fire deal going all January long!
For the entire month, Hy-Vee brats at the store's Quad Cities, North Scott and Clinton locations are all on sale for just $1. There are about 30 different flavors to choose from, including mac and cheese, Philly cheesesteak, chipotle, taco and more.
Rick Simmons, a Bettendorf Hy-Vee meat specialist, dropped by The Current on News 8 to discuss not only some of the different varieties of brats available, but also ideas for how to cook them! From breakfast options to kebobs, to a crockpot recipe that involves apple juice (yes, that's right), there are plenty of ways to spice up your meals while taking advantage of the sale.
