Hand in Hand leaders are preparing for the return of Quad Cities tradition that helps the organization fund inclusive programs supporting families.

The 15th annual Chili Cook-Off will take place on Feb. 3 from 3-6 p.m. at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. The event will feature 15 local teams. Participants will have an opportunity to try each team's chili and choose a winner. There will also be a silent auction, raffles, kid's activities and more for attendees to enjoy.

The fundraising event supports Hand in Hand's children's programming like summer camps, after-school care facilities and adult volunteer programs. These programs allow children and adults to build up their self-confidence and improve their social skills while giving primary caregivers time to work, run errands and have time to themselves.

Tickets at the door are $15 per adult, $5 per child between the ages of six and 12, and children under six get in for free. Tickets can also be purchased on Hand in Hand’s website.
