Davenport Public Library celebrates Native American Heritage Month

Presenters will share stories of indigenous culture from past, present and future.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Davenport Public Library is hosting an event to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. The event is called, "We Are Still Here - An Indigenous Journey," and it will be held at the Fairmount branch of the library on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Presenters will share Indigenous peoples' stories from the past, present and also hopes for the future. The program is intended for adults.

The program is being produced in partnership with the Davenport Civil Rights Commission.
