Channel Cat opening for the season

The water taxi will be available 7 days a week from May 24 to Labor Day.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — A Quad Cities staple is back and ready to bring some summer fun to the community.

The Channel Cat Water Taxi will launch its first rides of the season on Friday, May 24 at 9.a.m. After that, rides will be available seven days a week through Labor Day, which is Sept. 2. You can catch a ride at one of the four following docking locations:

  • John Deere Commons in Moline
  • RiverBend Commons in Moline
  • Isle Casino Hotel in Bettendorf
  • The Village of East Davenport

An unlimited all-day ticket costs $8 for adults, $4 for kids between two and 10 years old and anyone under two rides free with an adult. Tickets can be purchased onboard the Channel Cat or at Centre Station with cash only, but credit and debit payments are accepted through the Channel Cat mobile app.
