PORT BYRON, Ill. — A 53-year-old man has died following a UTV accident in Port Byron.
According to the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence in the 1200 block of 9th Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22. They found the man trapped beneath an overturned UTV and attempted to perform life-saving measures, but the man died as a result of his injuries. The man's name has not been released.
Two other men sustained minor injuries in the accident.
No other information is available at this time.
The accident is being investigated by the Rock Island County Sheriff's Office.
