CLINTON, Iowa — The Group Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, P.C. has opened a new OBGYN satellite clinic in Clinton.
The new clinic is located at 2745 Lincoln Highway, within Quality Care Clinic and Surgery Center.
Heather Mink, M.S.N., A.R.N.P., C.N.M, a Camanche native, is accepting patients on Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the new Clinton location.
The clinic consists of physicians, certified nurse midwives, advanced nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The Group specializes in women's health and offers services from first visits, to pregnancy and menopause.
While working full-time at Genesis BirthCenter, Mink obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Iowa in 2017 and then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati where she graduated in December of 2019.
"As much as I loved being a labor and delivery nurse, I hated that once that woman left our unit, I wouldn't see her again,” says Mink. “I wanted to be able to support women throughout their life transitions from their first period, through pregnancy, and menopause. It's such an incredibly humbling experience that women choose me to walk beside them on their health journey. I have been fortunate to form strong bonds and build relationships with incredible women.”
The Group also has a location in Davenport at 5350 Eastern Avenue, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
