MOLINE, Ill. — April is National Donate Life Month, and campaigns are already underway to promote the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation.
According to Donate Life America, more than 100,000 people across the country are waiting for a lifesaving transplant, but there are not enough donors to meet the demand.
On Monday, Apr. 1, the state of Illinois announced that it's launching a TV and social media ad campaign urging more people to register as donors.
