Loads of flowers, herbs, vegetables and hanging baskets were delivered to the Mississippi Valley fairgrounds on May 1, 2013 and it’s all to help out a local school. It’s the fifth annual Trinity Lutheran School plant sale.
Today students were there to help unload the plants, through pre-orders, students were able to raise $50,000 for their school, to improved security and update technology. Trinity’s principal says it’s a fun experience for all.
"They love it. They have such a good time and the really amazing thing is especially since this is our fifth year some of our older students they were here earlier today, they're naming the plants before I can even name them for them,” says Principal Bill Meyer.
The sale continues through Saturday, May 4, 2013. Even if you didn’t pre-order you can still stop by and shop.
