1 person dead after Moline house fire

According to the Moline Fire Department, a resident removed from a Wednesday house fire by firefighters has died from her injuries.

MOLINE, Ill. — According to the Moline Fire Department, a resident removed from a Wednesday house fire by firefighters has died from their injuries.

On the morning of Wednesday, March 6, firefighters responded to a residential fire in the 2400 block of 32nd Street. Firefighters entered the home and found one person inside. They removed the victim from the fire and helped them to paramedics.

The victim was transported to University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, where they later died. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
