ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — During the holiday season the community is reminded to shop small, and two sides of the Quad Cities are joining forces for the annual "That Dam Shopping Trip."
Shoppers can pick up a punch card at any of the participating businesses and shop at specific locations across Rock Island and Davenport. All businesses will offer special promotions during the event for holiday shoppers.
In Rock Island, here are the locations participating in this year's Shopping Trip:
- Skeleton Key Art and Antiques
- Colman Florist
- Clean Bee
- Brick and Motor Boutique
- Big T Wear
Here are the locations participating in Davenport:
- Theo and Co.
- Chocolate Manor
- Figge Art Museum Store
- Doodads
- Abernathy's
For people who visit all ten locations, they can enter their punch card for the chance to win $1,000 worth of gift cards to all participating local businesses.
This connected event will begin on Nov. 24 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will commence again at the same time on Nov. 25.
