Hy-Vee announces final artists in 2024 Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend lineup

The two country singers join Luke Combs and Post Malone to complete the 2024 concert lineup.

NEWTON, Iowa — Two country singers are rounding out the 2024 Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend concert lineup.

Kelsea Ballerini and Eric Church are the final two artists to be announced, joining Luke Combs and Post Malone to complete the 2024 lineup.

Church will perform on July 13 following the end of Saturday's race. Ballerini will take the stage on Sunday, July 14 at the end of the weekend's final race.

Church is no stranger to Iowa, having performed at the Iowa State Fair in 2006, 2007 and 2023. With seven ACM Awards and four CMA Awards, Church is a fixture in the country music scene. With hit songs such as "Springsteen" and "Drink In My Hand", Church has amassed an expansive musical catalog and a dedicated fanbase known as the "Church Choir".

Ballerini is newer to the country music scene, but has quickly risen through the ranks. Following her 2015 debut, Ballerini received a Best New Artist Grammy nomination. Since then, Ballerini has racked up seven No. 1 singles and five back-to-back Top 10 entries on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Most recently, Ballerini received her fourth Grammy nomination for her album "Rolling Up the Welcome Mat".

Since the inaugural event in 2022, the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend has welcomed a wealth of talent to central Iowa. In 2023, the event featured Ed Sheeran, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band.

"Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend has become a true destination event, showcasing everything that is great about racing and about Iowa,"  Jeremy Gosch, Hy-Vee's vice chairman and CEO, said in December. "We're obviously very excited about how the weekend has been received the past two years, and we know the 2024 event will be just as great."

Admission to the concerts is included with the purchase of a Saturday or Sunday Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend ticket. Buy tickets for the event here.
