Canadian Pacific Holiday Train returns Sunday

The Holiday Train will be stopping in the Quad Cities area on Nov. 26.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Editor's note: The video attached is from when the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train stopped in the Quad Cities in 2022.

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train, a Christmas light show on wheels, will visit Clinton, Davenport and Muscatine on Sunday, Nov. 26.

Joining the Holiday Train are Seaforth, an Australian pop-country duo, and Kiesza, a pop multi-instrumental solo artist. 

Here are the stops the Holiday Train will make in the Quad Cities area:

  • Clinton, Iowa: Arrives 3:15 p.m., event from 3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the east end of Main Avenue
  • Davenport: Arrives 5:45 p.m., event from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Western Avenue and W. River Drive
  • Muscatine: Arrives 7:30 p.m., event from 7:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. in River Side Park at Chestnut Street and Harbor Drive

Churches United of the Quad City Area will collect non-expired, non-perishable food and monetary donations at the train's Davenport stop. Donations will help supply the organization's 23 Quad Cities food pantries and its hot meal site at the Zion Lutheran Church in Davenport.

The Holiday Train runs from Maine to Alberta, with stops through the U.S. and Canada.
