This would be Booker's second trip to the Olympics. He won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Booker played in all six games for the U.S., starting five of them. He averaged 9.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

This would be Durant's fourth trip to the Olympics. He also played for Team USA in 2012, 2016 and 2020, winning gold all three times.

In 2020 in Tokyo, Durant started all six games for Team USA, averaging 20.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. Durant was named the 2020 Olympics MVP by FIBA, the governing body of international basketball.

In 2016 in Rio de Janiero, Durant started all eight games for Team USA, averaging 19.4 points, five rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.

In 2012 in London, Durant started all eight games for Team USA, averaging 19.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

USA Basketball Olympic Roster for Paris 2024

Here's a look at who else appears to be headed to France with Booker and Durant.

Former Phoenix Sun Grant Hill, who is working as the managing director for Team USA, said the team is keeping one roster slot open ahead of their training camp and exhibition games in Las Vegas in July, according to ESPN.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr will be the head coach for Team USA in the Olympics. He will be joined on the coaching staff by Gonzaga University head coach Mark Few, Los Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue and Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra.

Players still in the 41-player pool announced in January who would be eligible for that final roster spot include:

Team USA will open Olympic play with a group-stage game against Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Serbia on July 28. They will play South Sudan on July 31 and then wrap up the group stage with a game against the winner of an Olympic Qualifying Tournament on Aug. 3.

The Olympic Qualifying Tournament that will determine Team USA's third opponent will take place in Puerto Rico from July 2-7. It will feature Bahrain, Italy, Ivory Coast, Lithuania, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
