Cat rescued from hot car 2 years ago is now Target model

Hercules, the feline "miracle kitty," was discovered by an animal talent agency looking for unique cats.

PRINCETON, Minn. — Two years ago, a crew from the Animal Humane Society (AHS) helped rescue 47 cats from what they called "sweltering heat" inside a vehicle at a rest stop in Harris, Minnesota.

One of the cats inside the car is now a model for Target.

Hercules, the feline "miracle kitty," was discovered by an animal talent agency looking for unique cats.

Because of past injuries, Hercules' tongue sticks out — giving him a distinctive look.

The owner of Hercules, Jill LeBrun, and Founder of Tuff Start Rescue, Dr. Nicole Perreault, joined KARE 11 Saturday to talk about Hercules' amazing story.
