A well-known Quad Cities diner is opening its doors for the first time in a new location Monday.

Ross' Restaurant welcomed customers into its new home on Falcon Avenue, just off of 53rd Street in Bettendorf. The move comes after a total renovation of the former Frank's Pizza location. The restaurant owner brought the counter stools from the original restaurant to the new place.

"It's been really difficult to leave our old location and to move. That was, well you know how moving is. It's very difficult, but then in addition we didn't know how to use our new kitchen yet but we're really learning it quickly and we're doing the very best we can," said Cynthia Freidhof, Ross’ Restaurant Owner.

The new restaurant opened just two weeks after the old location closed. So far no timeline has been set for demolition of the old building.
