Moline welcomed a new hotel for visitors to stay near the airport.
A ribbon cutting for the Holiday Inn Express was held Wednesday, June 18, 2014. The new hotel holds 100 rooms and brings 35 new jobs.
According to Dan Huber, Holiday Inn co-owner, the hotel is visible from I-280, I-74, and the QC International Airport. It's located at 2100 69th Avenue in Moline.
“It’s good to have high quality hotels with really nice modern day amenities and that’s what the Holiday Inn Express at the Quad City Airport really represents is a modern day hotel that will really help our community put its best foot forward and take really good care of our visitors coming into the area,” Huber said.
The hotel is complete with a fitness room, swimming pool, laundry, meeting room, outdoor patio, and ten guest room suites.
