Police say an Illinois man died after being attacked by an aggressive swan.
Anthony Hensley, 37, reportedly drowned in a pond at a condominium complex Saturday, April 14, 2012.
The Daily Herald reported Hensley was working for a company that places swans to keep geese away from community ponds in suburban Chicago.
Hensley was working when the kayak he was in got to close to a swan or its nest.
Hensley was attacked by the swan. The attack reportedly continued after Hensley fell out of the kayak.
His death was ruled an accidental drowning by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Hensley leaves behind a wife and two small children.
