DAVENPORT, IOWA -- Police and a crime scene unit were at a home in Davenport where two people were found dead in a pool.
Around 8:45 p.m. on Monday, July 22, two men were found dead in a pool at a home in the 1100 block of Jersey Ridge in Davenport, according to a statement from the Davenport Police Department. A preliminary investigation indicated that both of them died in an accidental drowning.
The two men were identified as 60-year-old Mark Anderson from Eldridge, Iowa and 57-year-old Kenneth Anderson from Bellevue, Iowa.
"There is no family relation between the two victims," read the police statement.
On Tuesday, the Scott County Auditor's office confirmed that the home belonged to John Wisor, the owner of 11th Street Precinct restaurant in the Village of East Davenport.
