A Muscatine man was arrested after allegedly threatening someone with a handgun.
According to the Muscatine Police Department, shortly after noon on Friday, October 25, 2013 police were called to a “fight in progress” at Hershey Ave. and Main Street in Muscatine. Police had been told that someone had a handgun and “appeared to threaten” someone with it.
Officers were able to make contact with the suspect, 50-year-old Glenn Nunn, via telephone, but Muscatine Police said that Nunn hung up on officers after a short conversation. Officers obtained a search warrant after repeated attempts to contact him again.
Police said Nunn was arrested about four hours after the initial call. He was taken to the Muscatine County Jail.
