Clinton woman jailed for dealing hundreds of pounds of pot

A 53-year-old Clinton, Iowa woman was sentenced to ten years in prison for conspiracy to manufacture and distribute marijuana from 2002 to 2010.

A 53-year-old Clinton, Iowa woman was sentenced to ten years in prison for conspiracy to manufacture and distribute marijuana from 2002 to 2010.

Sabrina Cochran admitted she was part of a group of people who stored and dealt marijuana from Cochran’s home in Clinton, Iowa.  Cochran also admitted to handling money from the drug deals. 

Police said the case involved at least 100 kilograms – more than 220 pounds – of marijuana. 

Cochran admitted the drug dealing started as early as 2002 and continued until 2010. 

In addition to the prison sentence, Cochran was ordered to serve four years of supervised release following her release from prison.  She must also pay $100 to the Crime Victims Fund.

She was sentenced in federal court in Davenport, Iowa May 18, 2012.
