BETTENDORF, Iowa — A dessert shop has proven that even during a pandemic, people still need cookies.
Four months after opening a storefront Downtown Davenport, Cookies and Dreams opened a second location in Bettendorf. Their Davenport location opened in September 2020.
Their Bettendorf spot opened in January 2021 at 6768 Competition Drive, near the BettPlex.
For their opening day on January 15, the first 25 customers got a voucher for 6 free cookies. The next 25 customers got vouchers for 2 free cookies.
Before having any storefronts the business has previously sold its cookies inside Baked Beer & Bread Company in the Village of East Davenport.
