MOLINE, Ill. — A new McDonald's location is coming to Moline.
The newest Mickey D's will be built near Target and Kohl's in southwest Moline. It'll be located in what has been in recent years an unused parking lot in front of Kohl's and a former Hy-Vee. The area is currently fenced off and concrete is already being ripped up to make way for the golden arches.
According to City of Moline Director of Community and Economic Development Chris Mathias, a permit for the build was issued by the City in March. A sign variance for the location is currently in discussions with the Moline City Council.
The location's anticipated open date is not yet known.
Another new McDonald's location is also coming to the TBK Sports Complex area in Bettendorf. The location at 5221 Competition Drive is slated to open in mid-June.
