New Kingdom Trailriders has been selected as the June recipient for Eriksen Chevrolet’s Three Degree Guarantee.
For each day of the month that the actual temperature is within three degrees of the forecasted high temperature, New Kingdom Trailriders will receive $20 from Eriksen Chevrolet. Each night, the Storm Track 8 team will predict the next day’s high temperature. The forecasted temperatures are compared to the actual temperatures recorded by the National Weather Service.
Located in Sherrard, Illinois, New Kingdom Trailriders is a nonprofit therapeutic horseback riding facility positively impacting the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of riders as young as four years old. Founded in 1984 to empower individuals of all ages and abilities to reach their full potential through equine assisted activities, a majority of riders show significant improvements in core strength, self-confidence, fine and gross motor skills, mobility, social skills, coordination and verbalization.
