Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities has been selected as the Three Degree recipient for February 2023

Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities has been selected as the February recipient of Eriksen Chevrolet’s Three Degree Guarantee.

For each day of the month that the temperature is within three degrees of the forecasted high temperature, Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities will receive $20 from Eriksen Chevrolet in Milan, Illinois. Each night, the WQAD Storm Track 8 team will predict the next day’s high temperature. The forecasted temperatures are compared to the actual temperatures recorded by the National Weather Service.

Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities has been serving Rock Island and Scott counties since 1993. Thanks to their process of building and renovating homes, Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities has restored hope and provided economic support to our region. Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities directs programs like building and renovating affordable homes, and assisting low income homeowners with affordable home repairs, wheelchair ramp building. Habitat for Humanity QC also is responsible for ReStore and Health and Home, programs that help make home essentials more accessible to the community, divert usable materials from landfills and support housing program funding.
