MOLINE, Ill. — The Center for Belgian Culture has been selected as the October recipient for Eriksen Chevrolet’s Three Degree Guarantee.
For each day of the month that the actual temperature is within three degrees of the forecasted high temperature, the Center for Belgian Culture will receive $20 from Eriksen Chevrolet. Each night, the Storm Track 8 team will predict the next day’s high temperature. The forecasted temperatures are compared to the actual temperatures recorded by the National Weather Service.
Established to preserve and share the Belgian heritage, the Center for Belgian Culture serves as a social and professional network to help Belgians residing in or visiting the Quad-Cities area. Members work to promote the image of Belgium and encourage the ties of social relations between Belgians in the Quad Cities and elsewhere in the world. The Center is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. at 1608 Seventh Street in Moline.
