A Severe Thunderstorm WARNING has been issued for parts of Whiteside and Carroll Counties in Illinois until 6:15pm. Andrew Stutzke WQAD is tracking the storm now.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for counties northeast of the Quad Cities early Tuesday evening, May 26, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The storms impacted Whiteside, Carroll and Jo Daviess Counties.  The storms moved into Stephenson County in northwestern Illinois. A warning was issued for that county until 7 p.m. 

The storms were moving north around 35 mph, according to the NWS.
