Storm chances increase; stellar weekend ahead

Only two more days of tropical weather before a breath of fresh air arrives on Friday.

Get ready for another tropical, Florida-like day. A few thunderstorms can't be ruled out through the day with high temperatures in the 80-85 degree range. Storms will move from south to north and cover about 30-40% of the area through the day.

While the past few nights have been dry, we will have a few isolated storms roaming the skies tonight into the wee hours of Thursday. Temperatures will fall to 65 degrees by morning.

More numerous rains and thunderstorm activity can be expected on Wednesday with highs in the middle 70s.

A cooler, drier air mass is expected for Friday-Sunday. Look for highs in the 72-77 degree rang with overnight lows in the 50s.

A very warm pattern may take shape by the end of next week.
