DAVENPORT, Iowa — A crash was discovered south of Interstate 80, west of Interstate 280.
The vehicle was wrecked near Mccarthy Improvement Company on Tuesday morning, February 25. A deputy with the Scott County Sheriff's Department said the vehicle came in from 76th Street.
A tree branch was through the back passenger side of the vehicle.
As officers were on scene investigating around 9 a.m., the driver showed up "unexpectedly," said Lt. Gibbs with the Scott County Sheriff's Department.
The driver said the crash happened Monday evening and that fatigue may have played a role. He was cited for failure to maintain control.
