One person was seriously injured after a four-wheeler crashed into a pole on the west side of Davenport.
There were two people riding on the four-wheeler when it hit a pole around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, according to a statement from the Davenport Police Department. The four-wheeler was headed westbound through an alley on Stark Street, just south of Rockingham Road.
Police said one person was taken to a local hospital before being transferred to Iowa City with "serious life threatening injuries."
There was no word on the other rider's condition.
