ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Ill. — The Rock Island Arsenal Bridge is closed to all traffic due to a malfunction.
Vehicle, pedestrian and rail traffic are all prohibited as crews work to repair the bridge.
The Arsenal said in a Tweet the bridge is closed "due to the end lifts being unable to be placed in the 'locked' position."
It is unclear when the bridge will be reopened.
