MOLINE, Ill. — The Quad City Strom enjoyed the best season in its short franchise history this past winter. A 32-15-5 regular-season record was followed up with the Storm's first playoff birth and a trip to the President's Cup semifinals. The success earned head coach Dave Pszenyczny a three-year contract extension on Friday.
Pszenyczny owns a 66-68-22 record during his time as head coach.
The Storm will return to the ice in October for some unfinished business.
