PORT BYRON, Ill. — Port Byron will not hold its annual Tug Fest celebrations in August.
Organizers say they don't feel it's possible to stay responsible and keep everyone safe.
On the Iowa side, Tug Fest celebrations are still on in LeClaire. However, there will be no carnival and no rope tug.
The parade and live music will continue but a decision has not yet been made on the fireworks show.
