Ahead of the June 2nd primary in Iowa, every registered voter will be getting an absentee ballot request form in the mail.

This was announced by Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate on Twitter.  The announcement said the request form will include paid postage for the returned request.

Pate said he was encouraging voters to cast their ballot by mail starting on April 23 "to help reduce the spread of COVID-19."
