DAVENPORT, Iowa — One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after gunfire was reported in a Davenport neighborhood.
Initial reports indicated a number of people were injured after a fight and shots fired call Sunday evening, February 16. The call reportedly came from the 1300 block of Carey Avenue, where police said shell casings were recovered.
Police later confirmed that a man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries to his face. The injuries were not believed to have been caused by gunfire.
The man was treated at a nearby hospital. There were no other injuries or damages reported.
