CARBON CLIFF, Ill. — UPDATE: The village's water conservation request has been lifted.

Original: The Village of Carbon Cliff released a statement Sunday afternoon asking residents below the hill and in the Cliff Heights area to conserve water.
"Please hold off on watering lawns, filling swimming pools, etc. Due to a technical malfunction, the water tower slowly drained over night."
The Village says it's in the process of building up the pressure to fill the water tower and that everyone should have normal pressure by mid-day Monday.
