LE CLAIRE, Iowa — The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced on Tuesday that repairs to the I-80 Mississippi River bridge in Rock Island County are expected to take place on September 23.
Weather permitting, the bridge joints will be repaired westbound, causing lane closures with the repairs projected to finish on October 1.
IDOT says one lane of traffic will be open and motorists should expect delays in this area and consider alternate routes.
