United Way's Fall Day of Caring volunteers completed several community projects on Thursday, September 19.
The program has volunteers in the area take part in community betterment projects.
One such project was working on the Esperanza Center playground in the Florciente neighboorhood.
Volunteers were out in the morning spreading mulch and painting the playground.
