RIVERDALE, Iowa -- The Scott County Sheriff's Department responded to a call of shots fired in Riverdale that resulted in the victim's death, according to the Scott County Sheriff's Office.
Scott County Deputies responded to the scene at the 1100 block of Fenno Drive in Riverdale at 1:26 p.m. on Saturday, Dec 7. to find a person that had sustained a gunshot wound. Medics were called to administer quick emergency treatment, but the victim, 32-year old Terry Warner, died from his injuries.
The suspect, Brian Duque was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Duque is Warner's uncle, and they lived in the same house prior to the shooting.
Duque is being held in the Scott County Jail without bond.
