IL Gov. Pritzker pushes for mail-in voting despite threats from Trump administration

The governor and his team provide updated numbers for coronavirus in the state.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — UPDATE MONDAY, MAY 25: As of Monday morning, there were 110, 304 cases in the state. 4,856 people have died.

ORIGINAL STORY THURSDAY, MAY 21: According to the state there 2,268 new cases with a total 102,686 cases. 

As of May 21 there are 87 more deaths with a total of 4,607 deaths. The state reports 67,220 total tests with 29,807 of those being in the last 24 hours.

4,107 are in the hospital for COVID-19 with 1,088 in the ICU and 609 on ventilators.
