Before Devil City Angels - featuring Poison  drummer Rikki Rocket, and Traci Gunns from L.A. Gunns - performed at Rascals in Moline, they met with kids from the QC Rock Academy.

"You can take something these amazing legends do, and you can take it and apply it to yourself," said QC Rock Academy student Gracie Bruce.

Getting to meet and mentor up-and-coming stars is what it's all about for Rikki Rocket.

"That's what gives back to me," Rocket said.  "We can go make music or be rockstars but, really, the influence you give somebody is the biggest payback because that's what keeps on going.

"That's what inspires other generations, and to think I have some impact like that - that's amazing!"
