UPDATED: Police search for suspect in overnight shooting

DAVENPORT, Iowa-- Police are looking for someone after multiple shootings overnight.

Police searched for at least one suspect between 53rd Street and Kimberly Road near Target, early Friday morning, June 21.

There's no word if anyone was hurt or where the shootings happened. Davenport Police, Bettendorf Police, and the Scott County Sheriff's Office are all investigating the scene.

UPDATE 11:27 a.m.: Three shootings occurred overnight, according to a statement from Davenport Police.

  • At 12:01 a.m., police officers were notified when a 25-year-old Davenport man walked into UnityPoint Health- Trinity in Bettendorf for treatment for a possible gunshot wound to the foot. The injured man left the hospital undetected as officers investigated the victim's residence at the 1700 block of E Locust street. Iowa State Patrol two suspects were taken into custody
  • At 1:12 a.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired near 300 E 14th street. Officers discovered casings on the 1400 block of Iowa Street. No injuries or damage was reported on the scene.
  • At 1:18 a.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired near Sylvan Court. Officers discovered gunshot damage to a house, but no injuries or other damage was reported on the scene.

It is unclear if the shootings are related.
