Happy Friday, Everyone! I'm meteorologist Cassie Heiter with your Storm Team 8 Forecast.
A cold front continues to move through the area bringing clouds and areas of light snow or flurries. This snow will not amount to much and many locations will just see a dusting at best. With an arctic high pressure building over our north we can expect a very chilly start to our weekend. This high will move down from Canada and help clear skies by early Saturday. Temperatures will struggle to reach into the lower 20s tomorrow with overnight lows in the single digits. The airmass begins to moderate on Sunday with highs climbing into the upper 20s. Our next snowmaker arrives on Monday that could potentially bring us a couple inches of the fresh powder. Snow will taper Monday night but clouds will stick around through midweek with highs reaching to the mid and upper 30s late week next week.
