WALCOTT, Iowa -
A crash Thursday morning in Walcott ended with two people taken to hospital.
According to police, the head-on collision accident happened shortly before 7:00am on 60th Avenue just north of 200th St.
Each of the drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Genesis East Hospital. Police say the do not believe alcohol was a factor, and police are withholding the names of the drivers at this time.
Walcott police, the Scott County sheriff's department, Walcott Fire department, Durant Ambulance, Iowa State Patrol, and Durant police assisted with the initial response.
